Lemlist Pricing Plans Breakdown
As we have seen above, Lemlist offers three pricing plans.
In this section, I will walk you through a detailed breakdown of everything you will get under each plan.
1. Email Pro Plan
Lemlist’s base plan is the Email Pro: it costs $55/user/month with annual billing.
That means you will have to pay a one-time fee of $660 (per user), a pretty large amount!

So, what does Lemlist offer in return?
Let me show you.
Features Provided
- Sending Accounts: 3 free email accounts, $9/month for each additional account.
- Emails/Day: Unlimited emails and follow-ups.
- Deliverability: Email warm-up, A/B testing, sender rotation, and detailed analytics.
- Personalization: Customizable merge tags, icebreakers, and image personalization.
- B2B Database: 1,000 credits you can use to find direct dials & emails.
- Integrations: Offers native integration with CRMs like Salesforce and Hubspot.
- Chrome Extension: Helps you find contact info of prospects directly on LinkedIn, Gmail, and CRMs.
- API Access: You can create custom automations for your workflow.
- Guest Seats: 5 seats you can use to invite team members for outreach collaboration.
Limitations
There are four major limitations of the Email Pro plan.
- First, you can only connect 3 email accounts. If you want to connect any more, you will need to pay $9/account/month.
- Second, you cannot create condition-based sequences based on triggers or follow-up rules. I was really surprised by this limitation since this plan is specifically for cold emailers, and cold emailers really need this feature for dynamic automation!
- Third, the base plan does not let you create custom landing pages: again, a very important feature for anyone who wants to send hyperpersonal cold emails.
- Fourth, Lemlist charges way too many credits for finding or enriching leads or verifying email addresses.
Here is a breakdown of how many credits different tasks will consume:- Email Finder & Verifier: 5 credits/lead
- LinkedIn Enrichment (via Chrome Extension): 2 credits/lead
- Email Verification: 1 credit/lead
- Phone Number Finder: 20 credits/lead
- In-App Calling: 4 credits for every minute
In short, if you need to find verified emails, $55/month will only get you 200 email addresses for the entire month!
Who should choose this plan?
This plan is ideal for solopreneurs who are just starting with cold outreach or want to send fewer than 100 cold emails/day.
It can also be a great option for small teams who want both cold emailing and prospecting capabilities in one place.
2. Multichannel Expert Plan
Next up, we have Lemlist’s Multichannel Expert plan.
It costs $79/user/month with annual billing, which means you will have to pay $948 for the entire year in one go.
And what does this get you?

Let us find out.
Features Provided
In addition to every feature that comes with the Email Pro plan, you get:
- Multichannel Sequences: Automate outreach across email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and even WhatsApp.
- Emails Supported: 5 email accounts ($9/month for every additional account you want to connect).
- LinkedIn Automation: Lemlist will automatically visit profiles, request connections, and send InMail or voice messages from your LinkedIn account.
- Built-in Dialer: Call prospects without leaving Lemlist and get AI-powered insights into sales calls.
- Trigger-Based Campaigns: You can set up conditions based on which Lemlist will send replies & follow-ups to recipients across email and LinkedIn.
- Landing Pages: Lemlist will help you create landing pages tailored to your prospects’ pain points.
- More Lead Finder Credits: 1,500 credits you can use to find leads, enrich contact data, and verify email addresses.
- Intent Data: Lemlist gives you access to intent and buying signals of prospects.
- Added Integrations: Integrates with Ringover, Aircall, voIP, Clay, n8n, and Make.
Limitations
The Multichannel Expert plan has 4 major limitations:
- You can only connect 5 emails for nearly $80/month.
- Only supports A/B testing for 2 variants of outreach messages.
- Offers only 1,500 lead finder credits: Far fewer credits than you’ll need to scale your multichannel outreach effectively.
- Lemlist has listed WhatsApp outreach in the pricing plan, but it is still an add-on ($20/seat/month).
Who should choose this plan?
This plan is good for sales teams and agencies who want to reach out to a small no. of prospects across multiple channels.
It is also a good option for anyone who wants multichannel capabilities but does not want to scale their campaign just yet.
3. Enterprise Plan
The Enterprise Plan is Lemlist’s most expensive pricing tier that comes with custom pricing.
The ultimate price depends on the specific features or volume you need, but you will need to pay for at least 5 seats to get this plan.

Let us check out what it offers and who it is suitable for.
Features Provided
First, you get all the features of the Email Pro and Multichannel Expert plans. In addition to that, this plan offers:
- Emails Supported: 5 emails per user, and since you will have to pay for at least 5 seats, you will basically get to connect 25 emails.
- More Lead Finder Credits: The custom plan gives you access to 2,500 lead finder credits for prospecting.
- Unlimited Guest Seats: Invite as many team members as you want without paying anything extra.
- Collaboration Tools: You can assign roles and even lead finder credits to specific team members.
- Dedicated Support: Lemlist will assign an account manager to ensure dedicated support and quick response times for your queries.
Limitations
The enterprise plan has three problems:
- It lets you connect the same no. of emails/seat (5) as the Multichannel Expert plan.
- Even when Lemlist is asking you to pay for 5 seats, WhatsApp outreach is still a $20/seat add-on.
- You can either find 500 emails or 125 direct dials with the 2,500 credits you get.
Who should choose this plan?
The enterprise plan is good for large organizations with relatively small sales teams that want to reach out to a limited no. of high-value prospects.
It is also suited to enterprises that want advanced team management and security features.
Lemlist Add-On Pricing (Hidden Expenses You Should Know)
At first glance, Lemlist looks pretty affordable.
I mean, you have to pay $79/user/month, but the capabilities it offers in return are pretty decent, till you consider the add-ons and hidden charges!
We have already seen that you need to pay extra for WhatsApp outreach regardless of which plan you choose.
But that is not the only hidden charge you might have to pay!
Here’s a list of all the Lemlist add-ons. I have also specified when Lemlist will charge you that price:
| Add-On | Extra Cost |
|---|---|
| Email finder & verifier credits | $0.10 (10 cents) per credit |
| WhatsApp integration | $20/month/number |
| Extra email addresses | $9/month/addresses |
| Custom landing pages | $79/month/user |
| Client Seats (For Agencies) | You will need to buy a separate plan for each client you have. |
Practical Breakdown: Lemlist Pricing for Sending 1,000 Emails Per Day
To clarify how these add-ons can affect the total cost, let us consider a small example:
- Say you have a sales team with 10 members, which means you need 10 seats.
- Plus, you want to send 1,000 emails/day
- For that, you also need to find the verified email addresses of at least 60,000 prospects (for the entire year).
If you have decided to go with the Email Pro plan, you will end up paying:
| Plan and Add-Ons | Monthly Cost | Annual Cost | Details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base Plan (Email Pro) | $55 | $660 | $55/month for 1 user (billed annually at $660/year). You can invite up to 5 guest users to help manage the campaign at no additional cost. |
| Add-on: Extra Email Addresses | $27 | $324 | You get 3 email accounts per user, each able to send 100 emails/day. To send 1,000 emails/day, you need 10 email accounts. You already have 3, so you need 7 more at $9 each/month, adding $324 annually. |
| Add-on: Lead Finder Credits | $150 | $1,800 | The plan includes 1,000 credits/month (12,000 annually), but Lemlist charges 5 credits for 1 email. For 1,000 emails/day, you'll need 300,000 credits for the year. This means you'll need to buy extra credits at $0.10 per credit, totaling $1,800 annually. |
| Total Add-on Cost | $477 | $5,184 | Includes Extra Email Addresses + Lead Finder Credits |
As you can see, you will end up paying more in add-ons ($1,547) than you would for the base plan ($550)!
This shows the extent to which the hidden charges can increase the cost you will actually have to pay to send 1000 emails/day for a year with Lemlist.
Is Lemlist Worth the Price?
When you add the add-ons to the basic pricing plans, Lemlist pricing comes across as pretty expensive.
So, is it worth the price?
Let me try to help you decide this by comparing its pros and cons:
Pros ✅
- Highly advanced personalization features.
- Complete range of multi-channel outreach options: email, LinkedIn, phone, and WhatsApp.
- You can use your unused lead finder credits even after your plan has expired.
- Lemlist lets you upgrade or downgrade your plans any time you want.
- You get all the deliverability features Lemlist has to offer with every paid plan.
- You can assign lead finder credits to specific users (only with the Enterprise plan).
Cons ❌
- The per-user billing makes scaling with Lemlist very expensive.
- With add-ons, you might end up paying more than the base price of your preferred plan.
- You cannot create condition-based sequences or A/B test copies with the Email Pro plan.
- To subscribe to the enterprise plan, you will need to pay for at least 5 seats.
- Lemlist charges too many credits for finding verified emails and direct dials.
- You will not get a refund if you cancel your plan midway through a billing cycle.
So, Is It Worth the Price?
Lemlist is a good tool for outbound and multichannel outreach, but in my opinion, it makes scaling extremely expensive.
While it gives you the flexibility to upgrade/downgrade plans, it charges you per-seat. This means you might end up paying thousands of dollars even if you have a small team.
Plus, the add-ons can be both a pro and a con. For example, you can purchase more credits or seats, or even add email addresses whenever you want.
But since Lemlist only supports 3 or 5 email addresses, and its credit system is very expensive, you might be forced to purchase add-ons.
Many users on G2 have reported that Lemlist’s pricing plans add on very fast 👇🏼

My final verdict: Lemlist is affordable for running small volume cold email or multichannel outreach campaigns. However, it is not suitable for scaling outreach.
Lemlist Pricing Plans Compared to Competitors
One way of deciding whether you should go for Lemlist is to compare its pricing with that of its closest competitors.
That is exactly what I have done in this section →
Let’s get into the breakdown!
1. Lemlist Vs Saleshandy Pricing
While Lemlist’s starting plan costs $55/month, Saleshandy’s Starter plan only costs $25/month.
That is less than half of what Lemlist is charging.
Even if you add the cost of Saleshandy’s basic lead finder plan, you still only have to pay $29/month (Outreach Starter) + $24/month (Lead Starter), or $54/month.
In return, you get to connect unlimited accounts and get 500 lead finder credits (monthly) that you can use to find 500 verified email addresses.

Plus, your unused credits will not expire with your billing cycle, so you can use them till they run out.
Plus, to access Lemlist’s multichannel features, you will need to pay $79/month (annual billing), whereas with Saleshandy, you get manual multichannel outreach right from the base plan starting at $24/month.
To find out more about which tool is better, check out my detailed blog on Saleshandy vs Lemlist.
2. Lemlist Vs Instantly Pricing
Instantly charges you $30/month for email outreach. Plus, the basic Superreach plan (for its lead finder) costs $42.3/month.
That means you will have to pay at least $72.3/month to get started with cold emailing and finding verified emails.
So, Instantly is nearer to Lemlist in terms of its pricing.

However, Instantly lets you add as many emails as you want, and it only charges you 1 credit for a verified email address (compared to Lemlist’s 5/email).
So, even though Instantly charges more, it will also give you more value for your money.
3. Lemlist Vs Woodpecker Pricing
Woodpecker is a cold email and multichannel outreach software built for scalability.
Its Starter plan costs $20/month (annual billing) and lets you send 6,000 emails/month.
With this plan, you also get access to 100 lead finder credits and a free warm-up for 2 email addresses.
Again, this is less than half of what Lemlist charges you for its basic plan.

But here is the catch: Woodpecker has a LOT of add-ons.
You will have to pay separately for
- warming up more inboxes ($5/inbox/month)
- automating LinkedIn outreach ($29/month/LinkedIn account)
- CRM & API integrations ($20/month)
- agency panel for client management ($27/month/client).
But the good part is that Woodpecker does not force you to pay for these add-ons
(However, it does offer very limited warm-up, and integrations are still an add-on.)
So, you will not have to pay for any features that you do not need!
Why is Saleshandy a Better Alternative to Lemlist?
Of all the three competitors, Saleshandy is the best alternative to Lemlist for several reasons:
- You can connect unlimited inboxes with every paid plan.
- Saleshandy does not ask you to pay extra for multichannel outreach.
- Only charges 1credit for a verified email address compared to Lemlist’s 5.
- You do not have to pay extra for adding more clients (perfect for agencies).
- Offers free email verification credits with every plan.
- Let’s you create AI and advanced conditional sequences, test up to 26 variants of copies, and rotate senders right from the basic plan.
Saleshandy is thus the clear winner when it comes to offering you value for your money, while not compromising on the features it offers!
Lemlist Pricing: Final Verdict
Through this blog, I have walked you through a detailed breakdown of Lemlist’s pricing.
So, should you shell out a monthly fee of at least $55 or $79 for its annual pricing plans?
I would say it is a good option only if you want a wide range of outreach options without scalability.
But the truth is, there are many Lemlist alternatives that offer similar or better features, while charging you a lot less.
And the best of them is Saleshandy!
