Based on my 10 years of experience in cold emailing and marketing + as a recipient of hundreds of email, here’s what generally works best:
Best Days:
- Tuesday and Thursday – consistently get higher open and reply rates.
- Wednesday is also a safe bet.
Avoid Mondays (people clear backlog) and Fridays (they’re winding down).
Best Times:
- 8–10 AM (recipient’s time zone) –Inbox is fresh, less clutter.
- 1–3 PM: Post-lunch, people often check emails again.
Avoid late evenings or weekends (unless you’re emailing founders—they sometimes read emails on Sundays).
