If you ask me what my golden rule for successful email outreach campaigns is, I would say: “Never send a cold email until you’ve thoroughly verified the prospect’s data.”
Why?
Well, poor data doesn’t just hurt your outreach efforts but—it also destroys your email deliverability and sender reputation.
I have been sending cold emails for the past 10 years now.
Over the years, my strategies and approach have continuously evolved with industry trends, but one thing that has remained the same and is non-negotiable is sourcing “quality data.”
In the early days, I struggled to find accurate contact details and reliable information about my prospects.
During this time, I have tried more than my fair share of B2B data provider tools.
In this blog, you’ll find:
- The most trusted and reliable B2B data providers
- A detailed review of my experience with each platform

For example, you can use advanced search filters like location, keywords, industries, etc., to get the targeted leads.
With a page-level view (up to 25-100 records at a time), you can easily analyze the data, bulk select, and export the data of 10,000 leads at once.

With this data vendor, you can get access to email addresses, phone numbers, intent signals & scores that can help you to run more targeted campaigns.

I signed up on the tool years back to build email lists. And it supplied me with the verified data.
Now, while writing this blog, when I again signed up to test the new features, I tried the AI prompting functionality.
Undoubtedly, it is a great addition; however, while giving prompts, you have to use dynamic variables and basically learn how to give prompts.
Whatsmore! You can easily level up your cold outbound as well by using Apollo’s engagement tool to set up and send cold emails.

3. Cognism
📊 Database Size: NA
✅ Accuracy Rate: 85%
Cognism is another B2B data provider you can trust to get GDPR and CCPA-compliant data.
During my research, I found that it claims to offer international data coverage for the EMEA, NAM, and APAC regions.

However, while going through user reviews and conducting further research, I discovered that it provides the best and most accurate data for the North American and European regions.
While trying to take its free trial, I was not able to sign up directly on the tool. First, I had to fill out a form, after which they would book a demo for me and provide 25 free leads for testing.
So, yes, if you are up for going through such a hassle, you can go ahead and try the tool.
But in my opinion, you can get similar features to Cognism within the same pricing plan without enduring such a complicated process.
