In this article, we will show you how to send an email campaign from SalesHandy.

It takes about 2-3 minutes to set up the campaign and consists of 3 easy steps.

Simple Steps to Send Email Campaigns Effectively

Step 1: Create a Campaign

  • Name the Email Campaign: The first step in setting up an email campaign is to name your campaign. If you are a marketing agency or if your marketing strategies include email marketing on daily basis then we advise you to be as clear with the name as possible.

The name of the campaign is for your use only. This won’t be visible except in the section of sent campaigns.

  • Create & Upload a CSV File:
CSV for sending email campaigns

CSV is a file format & this file will contain information about the recipients of your email campaign. You can easily create one in Google Sheets. Once you’ve uploaded the CSV, if you want you can verify and clean the email list to ensure a lower bounce rate using SalesHandy itself.

Pro Tip: Don’t forget to add: First Name, Email Address, Company Name, and the reference you are using to get in touch with them. These fields will help you put together a perfect email campaign.

Once you are done with your CSV then you can download it by following these steps:

File > Download as > Comma-separated values (.csv)

After you have downloaded your CSV, the next step is to upload the file in the recipient’s section.

This step is for users who have multiple accounts with SalesHandy.

Personalisation in professional emails will take your relationship with the customer a long way.

You can personalize fields like hellos, greetings, how you got their reference & a customized message if required.

As you can see in the above image, we have personalized our email using merge tags like {{First Name}}, {{Company}}, and {{LinkedIn Profile}}.

If you are sending this email campaign to your subscribers then you can use our one of the default merge tag: {{unsubscribeurl}}.

On sending the email campaign, these merge fields will be replaced with the information from your CSV. You can see how our email will turn out in step 2.

  • Add Follow Up Stages:

After the main email, it’s time to complete the email campaign by setting follow up stages.

Did you know that we have examined 2.14 million emails & came up with a perfect number of follow-up emails one should send?

SalesHandy’s advanced feature of setting follow-up stages according to your recipients’ behavior will reduce the chances of repetition of emails to your clients & upgrade their experience with your brand.

You can choose from “Not Replied”, “Not Opened”, and “Been Sent”.

The most used condition is “Not Replied” which sends your follow up emails to the recipients who haven’t replied to your previous email.

“Been Sent” is the perfect condition for the email campaigns sent to your subscribers

Step 2: Send a Test Email

After all your hard work & sweat, its time to test your campaign.

You just have to click on the “Send Test Email” button on the right-hand side & type in the email address you want to receive your test email.

And then click on send.

This is how our test email looks like:
